Canada2036 New World Immigration Consultants Review

New World Immigration’s head office is located at 130 Millennium Business Park, Edison Way, Century City, Cape Town 8000, South Africa.

According to the website, they have a Canadian office located in Toronto but we cannot confirm whether this is a physical office or a virtual one.

However, NWI works with authorized RCICs, thus we don’t expect any type of drop-in service quality even if this is a virtual office. As always, keep in mind that NWI only offers consulting services and assistance for getting a visa or permit. The final decision belongs to the Canadian government, exclusively.

The first thing that pops out is the year the company was founded: 2009. That’s a lot of experience and is probably one of the reasons that allowed New World Immigration to expand and to offer immigration services for more parts of the world than just Canada. The destinations they support are Australia, Canada, the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, Mauritius, South Africa, and the USA.

Offering support for more than one major destination comes with one caveat: the website contains more information than usual, which means that locating the information you are interested in, may become tiresome for first time users. It’s not a big problem or drawback, but you will need to be aware that the website is a tad more complicated than others are. Otherwise, it’s a well-built website, with a modern appearance.

RCIC Licenses at New World Immigration Consultants

The team at New World Immigration is composed of skilled individuals, each registered and accredited with the relevant authorities, to ensure compliance with the laws of the country/region for which they provide assistance.

For example, according to Canadian law, anyone who provides Canadian immigration services guidance must be accredited as an RCIC if they charge a fee for their services. An RCIC can represent clients before the Canadian government in matters of living, working, or studying in Canada but has to be registered with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC). NWI’s RCIC is Faiza Hassan, who is a registered active member of the Immigration Consultants Of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC). Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) – ICCRC Member ID: R513885.

Apart from information about their RCIC, they also show details about the other Registered Agents:

  • Sandra Karam is an Australian Registered Migration Agent – Registration Number: 1466320.
  • Jonathan Pretorius has been issued with an offshore agent ID from DIAC as an agent operating outside of Australia – Offshore Agent ID: 3017383
  • Patrick Gaffney is a registered US Immigration Attorney based in Washington DC
  • Shelley Faul has extensive experience with Australian and New Zealand Immigration which she gained from working for the Australian High Commission as a Senior Immigration Officer for just over 6 years.

By providing the information above, NWI shows transparency, which is always something to look for when deciding what consulting firm you should use.

On top of their visa services for the destinations mentioned above, NWI created in 2015 a property and relocation division that focuses on aspects outside of the visa process. Unfortunately they do not provide more details about the exact responsibilities of this division but they do mention that “this value added service comes free of charge to the client”.

Online New World Immigration Reviews

NWI has a huge social media following, compared to other immigration consultancies. This is most likely due to their long time in business and the fact that they offer services for different destinations, not only Canada.

Their Facebook page has almost 186K followers, with more than 184K likes and a 4.3 out of 5 stars review score. On Twitter, they have over 13K followers and an active posting schedule, while their Pinterest is modest, with only 171 followers. Overall we can say that NWI is very active in the online space and has a good interaction with their existing and potential customers.

As mentioned before, people rate NWI 4.3 out of 5 stars on Facebook, and most of the comments praise their professionalism. We’ve also managed to locate them on HelloPeter(dot)com where they are rated 4.67 out of 5 stars, based on 101 reviews at the time of writing. Of course, we have managed to locate a few negative reviews as well, but the vast majority of clients are satisfied with this company.
