The website is owned by Multi Dimension Consulting LTD, which is a private Limited Canadian company that is not connected to (or part of) the Canadian government. It is also important to note that MDC Canada does not represent an immigration authority and does not have the power to issue a visa. However, by using the services of such a firm, the immigration process can go substantially smoother.
Our Take on MDC Canada
A well-organized website is the first sign of a professional company and in this regard, MDC Canada does a great job. Right the first minutes spent on the website we could tell that information is accessible, well-structured, and presented with ease of use in mind.
The website as a whole is up to date and meets modern visual standards, but of course, a good website is not everything and perhaps the more important thing is the team, especially the Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) they employ.
According to the Canadian Federal law, consultants who provide Canadian immigration services guidance in exchange for a fee must be accredited as a RCIC. An RCIC has to be registered with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) and can represent clients before the Canadian government in matters related to living, working or studying in Canada.
Considering all of the above, it’s very important for an immigration consultancy to offer clear details about their RCICs but unfortunately, this information is sometimes “forgotten” by some companies. This is definitely not the case with MDC Canada!
The names and consultant identification numbers of their RCICs are clearly shown on the website: David Allon (RCIC #R513335), Ying Liu, (RCIC #R521924), and Jaehyun (Jimmy) Park (RCIC #R510391). We have checked all these names and numbers on the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) website and we can confirm these are all active RCICs, in good standing with the ICCRC.
On top of a well-built website and a high level of transparency, MDC Canada offers assistance for a very wide range of immigration programs and visas, including the Express Entry System, tourist visas, study visas, as well as family sponsorship, IELTS preparation courses and more. As mentioned before, they employ a multicultural team, which means they can assist clients in their native language.
Among the supported languages, MDC Canada lists English, French, Korean, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese. It’s true that clients will have to be proficient in English or French in order to receive a visa or permanent residency, but the process is usually a long one and it’s possible that in the beginning, their English and/or French skills are not as polished and that’s when having support in different languages comes in handy.
Overall MDC Canada looks and feels like a trustworthy and professional immigration consultancy. Their experience spans over 10 years, the company is transparent and the information about their RCICs is displayed on the website, as it should.
Keep in mind that people who wish to immigrate to Canada can apply on their own with the Canadian government but they will not receive personalized assistance, eligibility evaluation, and other services. If you are looking for a company that can assist you throughout the process, we consider MDC Canada a good choice.
Services Offered by MDC Canada
Express Entry System
This is not an immigration program itself, but a system that was introduced in 2015 by the Canadian government in order to better manage the candidates for the three federal programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program, Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.
Provincial Nominee Program
This program differs for each province and territory of Canada, depending on their individual immigration needs. For example if a province is in need of a certain job qualification, the applications of immigrants qualified for that job will be fast-tracked.
Designed for people looking to visit Canada, this visa offers single or multiple entries, for a duration of up to 6 months.
The study permit or student visa allows foreign students to complete their secondary and tertiary qualifications at any Canadian institution.
Working Holiday Visa
Designed for applicants between the ages of 18 and 35, the Working Holiday Program (also known as International Experience Class) allows them to travel and earn money in Canada. Depending on the applicant’s home country, the visa duration may be up to 2 years.
Live-In Caregiver Visa
This is a temporary visa designed for foreign applicants who want to work as Home Support Worker or Child Care Provider. The program allows accepted candidates to acquire up to 2 years work experience.
MDC Canada also offers assistance for Family Sponsorship Visa, Start-Up Visa, IELTS preparation courses and more.
MDC Canada Reviews
MDC Canada has almost 15K followers on Facebook and over 13K likes, so it’s safe to say they are popular and have an active social profile. Their Instagram has almost 4K followers but their Twitter profile only has 140 followers. Overall, this is not the biggest following we’ve seen, but it’s definitely a respectable one.
The vast majority of online customer reviews are very positive, with people thanking MDC for their professional help. We’ve only managed to find one negative review, where the client complained about MDC’s services but unfortunately the person did not provide a clear explanation of the problems he or she faced.
We consider that the overwhelming number of positive client reviews speaks for MDC’s reputation, at the same time confirming our favorable opinion about this immigration company.
